I am a technology enthusiast with many years of experience in the technology, manufacturing, and B2C e-commerce industries.

With a background in electronic engineering and engineering management (BEng (Hons) & MSc Eng Mgt), I am passionate about designing, manufacturing, and promoting innovative, marketable tech products.

As a Director & Engineer of NFC Workshop Limited, I focus on creating premium 'Phygital' business gifts. Our flagship product—an award-winning, eco-friendly NFC business card holder—beautifully merges natural aesthetics with our proprietary digital business card platform. Where Craft Meets Code: LEE CHOR MAN on Designing the Future (Interview by FADA UK)

My Story

I hold a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the City University of Hong Kong.

In addition to my technical expertise, I have a deep passion for wood art and believe that exceptional craftsmanship can embody the soul of a product.

With many years of experience in project management & technical sales, I have successfully overseen the end-to-end development and manufacturing of electronic products —from active IC promotion, design-in, design-win, schematic, and PCB layout to CAD, mold creation, prototyping, trial runs, and mass production.

I also have extensive experience in managing online B2C e-commerce businesses.

My professionalism in cross-border B2C e-commerce has been recognized through the eBay UK Power Seller and eBay UK Top Seller programs.

In 2022 and 2024, I was granted two technology patents: one for a lighting innovation (UK Patent No.: GB2618632A) and another for an NFC technology application (Hong Kong Patent No.: HK30086394).

In 2023, my new NFC business plan and project were awarded the PolyU Micro Fund Cash Award by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Additionally, I received mentorship and support from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) Ideation Program.

Building on these achievements, I refined my ideas and founded a new startup: NFC Workshop Limited.

I firmly believe that magic happens when craftsmanship meets technology.
